Manufacturer Pricing

Commercial terms for the DrugCheck Manufacturer Portal

Manufacturer Portal
Status of this document. This is a good-faith commercial terms draft, not a jurisdiction-verified legal instrument, and it has not been reviewed by qualified counsel or a finance/pricing professional. The prices below are illustrative starting points, not the result of market research — validate them against actual cost-to-serve, competitor pricing, and manufacturer willingness-to-pay before quoting them to a real customer. This document supplements, and does not replace, the general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which continue to apply to every Manufacturer Portal account.

1. What this covers

The Manufacturer Portal — self-registering drugs, generating batch/pack verification codes, and viewing which of your codes have been scanned — is free to apply for and free at a small trial volume. Beyond the trial, using it requires an active paid plan. This page sets out those plans; it does not change anything about how the consumer-facing app works, which remains free for everyone who scans, searches, or reports on it.

2. Plans

Plans are priced per verification code generated — the same unit the platform already meters internally, so what you're billed for maps exactly to what you used, not an estimate.

3. Billing & payment

4. What we commit to

We aim for high availability and will tell you about planned maintenance in advance where practical, but we do not currently offer a formal uptime SLA with service credits — the platform runs on standard infrastructure (see the project's own deployment documentation), not a redundant multi-region setup, and promising a formal SLA ahead of that would be a commitment we can't actually back. If your compliance or procurement process requires a formal SLA, tell us — that's a real, buildable requirement, just not the default today.

5. Your data

Drugs and codes you register remain identifiably yours (see Terms of Service §6 and §7 for how ownership and trust-tier badges work); a paid plan doesn't change who owns that data, only that generating new codes past the trial requires an active plan. Usage/scan analytics shown to you cover your own registered drugs only — we don't show one manufacturer's data to another.

6. Payment processing

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider (currently Paystack), not by us directly — when you pay, you're briefly on their checkout page, subject to their own terms and security practices, and we only receive confirmation that payment succeeded plus the reference needed to reconcile it against your invoice.

7. Changes to pricing

We may change these prices for new plan purchases at any time by updating this page. For an existing active subscription, a price change takes effect at your next renewal, with at least 30 days' notice by email first — never mid-cycle without warning.
